Each block is chosen for their exquisite flavour and aromatic profile. Only the free run juice from the best blocks is used. After fermentation the wine left on the lees for 5 months with regular lees stirring, for enhanced texture and mouthfeel.

Tokara was purchased in 1994 by GT Ferreira for residential purposes, but it wasn’t long before the great potential for planting vineyards was recognised inspiring the planting of classic varietals on the 400m above sea-level slopes.
