Tokara Sauvignon Blanc

R109.00

The Tokara Sauvignon Blanc comes from grapes that originate from Tokara’s “home farm” on the Simonsberg side of the Banghoek Valley, that lends structure, perfume and longevity to the wine, and from Tokara’s Highlands vineyard in Elgin, a cool-climate area atop Sir Lowry’s Pass that imparts an ethereal scent to the Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are harvested at various degrees of ripeness to add complexity, different aromatics and texture.

Brand

Tokara

Tokara was purchased in 1994 by GT Ferreira for residential purposes, but it wasn’t long before the great potential for planting vineyards was recognised inspiring the planting of classic varietals on the 400m above sea-level slopes. The cool air and low temperatures contribute to the excellent quality of Tokara Wines.
